Spoke (the texting platform we use) hides your real phone number by assigning you a proxy phone number. Anyone you text through the website will see a generated number with a local area code to them.
When you text people, the only thing they'll ever be able to see is your first name in a message if the message is set up to include names. (For example: “Hi Sarah, this is Amy w/ Movement Labs…”).
It's important to never click on any links a textee sends us - these links can have trackers connected which allow the sender to ping your location. In addition, never give out your full name, address/location, or phone number.
